Privacy Policy
This explains what we do with your personal information. CGA Collectors Ltd, trading as Mint Collectables, is the data controller. Contact us at contact@mintcollectablestcg.com.
What we collect
- When you order: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, and order history. Card details go directly to our payment provider — we never see or store them.
- When you sell cards to us: your name and address, what we bought, what we paid and when. For larger transactions we may record identification details.
- When you use the site: standard technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, through cookies and similar technology.
- If you subscribe: your email address, until you unsubscribe.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To fulfil your order — performance of our contract with you.
- To keep records of second-hand purchases — legal obligation. As a dealer in second-hand goods we are required to record who we bought from and what we paid.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and verify high-value orders — our legitimate interests in protecting the business and our customers.
- To send marketing — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Our payment providers, our delivery carriers, our website and email platforms, and our accountant. We share only what each needs to do its job. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as tax law requires. Records of cards we have bought from the public are kept for the same period under second-hand dealer record-keeping rules. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we're using it, or ask us to restrict it. Email contact@mintcollectablestcg.com and we'll respond within one month.
Where we're legally required to keep a record — a purchase we made from you, for instance — we may not be able to delete it until that period has passed. We'll tell you if that's the case and why.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your basket working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control them through your browser settings, though some parts of the site won't work properly without the essential ones.
